Bored now....

This is not one of those times.
I am _b_o_r_e_d_. I've pootled around doing cam stuff for a bit, but I'm too apathetic to actually do any really long thing. I left the DT's I need to respond to at home....This afternoon there are some Downtimes I need to write...for Mays the Satyr, William the Sidhe and I need to sort out Henry Bretton the Tremere.
I'm not a great fan of secondary characters, but I have mystically ended up with two, one CA and one Changeling.
Actually, it's not a mystery, they were both created when my Primary was time frozen.
Henry was created when my then Primary, the Ventrue Bryan Daniels was kidnapped by the evil and manipulative Cesar Giovanni Barbari, also of the Ventrue, who planned to condition him....unfortunately, the player backed off from that plan (which was a rocking good plan and would have been great to play) and instead chose to get Bryan killed in the famed St Valentines Day Ventrue Massacre of 1999.
Hmm...
Mays was created last month, while the great WaG was time frozen on a trip into the deep dreaming. He's based (loosely) on Inspector Morse. I think he's going to be a really great character.
I worry about William ap Gwydion. And then I worry about worrying about him. There comes a time when you see the end of a character. I've upped my estimation of his lifespan after an ST call went the opposite way to the way I was expecting, so he doesn't know something I thought he did. But he's...very much a broken man. He failed, badly, he lost both the thing he valued most in his life and the person he valued most.
But the real reason that I worry is that I don't see anyone to replace him. I believe that seelie Sidhe leaders are important to the Changeling game. But I don't really see anyone standing forward to replace him. Someone said to me when I was talking about this, and about what to play next, that I should "give someone else a chance." That really hurt, because I wasn't aware that I was stifling opportunity at all. There is certainly room in the game for a young, strong Sidhe. But nobody wants to play one.
How remarkable.
While I'm aimlessly wittering (which, in case you hadn't noticed, I am) I'll witter about my CA primary, Saul the Malkavian. Saul is Prince of a small fief called Wycombe in Buckinghamshire. I agreed with the ST when I became RST that I'd step down, but we'd plot it in such a way that the character was still playable and the game wasn't ruined. It's taking a while to do so.
Ok...I've run out of wittering now. More, I've just thought of an excellent thing to do in another post....so....time to post.
