Decent enough weekend. I went to Mr Watsons funeral on Friday..(see earlier post to find out who Mr Watson is)... Seemed strange to be back in a Church only two weeks after his Grand-daughter got married. Seemed even stranger to be back in St Pauls church, New Southgate. The primary school I went to was associated with this church...as was my cub and scout troop. As I walked in, I felt like I should be carrying a Flag.
Stayed friday night with Dad, went out for a curry, drank too much Cobra.....
Saturday, watched the Cricket on the telly then went to the Malk T-Party. Good game...minor query on price.... Got to cause trouble as Saul...got a permanent derangement (hey...collect the set) as a result.
Sunday, Cricket. Didn't think we were going to play when I got up and saw the rain, but the ground was dry and it actually didn't rain at all. We played well and deserved to win...but ran out of time twenty runs short and drew...oh well...12-1-39-1 for me. Kept it nice and tight while they were slogging. Quite pleased...
I think I'm too emotionally involved with my Changeling Character... But I'm enjoying playing him so much that I don't want to jeopardize that by trying to maintain an emotional distance that may be irrelevant. I'm not going mad...it's just that if he died I'd be...unapproachable...for a month....
I might get to play WW for the first time in ages this Sunday....
Oh well....
