Not to mention a permanent soundtrack in my head from a certain lady with a very high voice and large hair. (Not that I've read it, I just imagine that's what would happen if I did.)
It's very distracting to have a certain very high voice warbling in your head when you're trying to read the book in an English Literature class. An image like the one above didn't help me much either.

That and I want to throttle the characters so badly that I think the book would be much improved by the substitution.

Glad you haven't come across a few others - heaven knows what you'd do with Pip in Great Expectations, or (heaven forbid) Fanny in Mansfield Park....
