Saturday, I got up and watched the cricket whilst picking up the trash in the front room. Then spikydavid, A and I went in to town to look for a replacement guitar for me. Went to Modern Music, which had some nice guitars, the best of which was the Yamaha Pacifica. Then off to Hickies, which had a smaller range but still managed a nice Vintage guitar. We then drove out to a music shop in Woodley. Well, it was supposed to be a music shop, but it shared premises with a party shop, leading to a one-stop Balloon and Guitar place. Which was odd, to say the least. Anyway, some plunking later and I'd fallen in love with a Cort X-2, so I bought it. Two humbucker pickups (bridge and neck), Electric Blue in colour. It sounds nice and it's fun to play.

On the way back we dropped in to the Mage/CA venue to look at power points and stuff then back to Sherwood Street. We played online Madden 2003 (interesting) until taimatsu pitched up at about 23:00 and thence home and to bed.

Sunday, spent the morning not doing very much and then went to Reading Changeling, which I think went well. Off to Oxford Mage/Garou where I played STC. And caused trouble. After the moot, and after I had to climb over a fence to get out of a park, (note : I have poor balance. I am not scared of heights, but I am scared of falling - translation - I'm fine on the Eiffel Tower, I'm awful on the top of a ladder). STC then attempted to wind up a Bastet and failed miserably. Disappointing.

I honestly can't remember. It was in the middle of a bunch of HP LJ icons (another is this one!).

It is cool. Though worryingly...um...well maybe that's just me...
