The inability to see who else can see a particular limited LJ entry is irritating.
Being confronted by a confusing LJ entry and trying to figure out
Makes for an amusing afternoon game. (Well, more amusing than "compare the msi packages" which is what I'm supposed to be doing.)
Oh, yes,
On Saturday, I went to a friends wedding. This is not an abnormal occurence, except that I've known this friend for as long as we both have been alive (she's nine months younger than me). This meant, of course, that I was in the scary situation of being in a room with people who have more blackmail material than the Stasi had. Seriously - when you get reminded of jokes you mistold when you were 12....
Still, the wedding was nice, the weather lovely, and we got to stand in the park whilst the photos were taken, with only the local youth raining full milk bottles down on us for entertainment. Tcha, kids of today! Don't they know better?
Use paraffin.
Not so much a case of molotov cocktails as unigate cocktails.
Despite that, the food was really nice, the wine *hic* was good and it was fun.
taimatsu joined me after the meal for the buffet and wedding-dancing (it's a special category of disco that, presuming you are sufficiently lubricated, is the kind of guilty fun that usually is limited to watching Jerry Springer).
Stayed at my Dad's overnight, then went to play Cricket. We lost, plus ca change, but it was quite enjoyable. Mostly because I hit (with a cricket ball) the grumpy old git who I've been failing to get out for the last ten years. I still didn't get him out, but I bet it hurt.
Back home, to find a living room full of roleplayers (where do they come from?), so some judicious TV lugging later,
taimatsu and I watched "Romancing the stone" with the (spare #1) TV perched on the end of the bed and plates of a dish I can only describe as "pasta with what I had to hand" in our mitts.
Today, work and trying to open my email.

- Was I meant to see this?
- Who else is meant to see this?
- Am I supposed to comment on it?
- Should it have footnotes? Should I ask?

2. ask the user...
3. is there the ability to comment and have you asked the user if you were supposed to see it?
4. and depends what it was...
incidentally if you are talking about the random entry that I posted.
1. yes
2. all the people on my friends list
3. if you feel like it
4. I can't remember i wrote it like 4 years ago whilst incredibly incredibly drunk and found it and thought it pretty....

cause we are really good friends, but having never met the person i didn't know whether i was THAT much one of her trusted advisors...
it was odd, butt he best thing is that if you want to comment, then do it... the person will then know and if you weren't supposed to be on it, then things will be sorted out in the future

Yeah - it is very confusing. I wouldn't have thought it'd be too hard to provide some way of listing who has access.
