Gah.

Am suffering a massive crisis in confidence today, and I don't know why. I'm probably just tired.

_externalising good_

Roleplaying
I'm having a SC-like moment of doubting that anyone could want to RP with me, any one could find any interest in my characters or in playing with them.
Gah. Probably GarouMUSH related. I've had some good scenes (I think) already (see here ) but something is making me feel very inferior and I don't know what it is.

NSTing
I _know_ you can't please all of the people all of the time, but by god it sometimes pisses me off. Still, since the Nash have been active and productive and am working hard against the "dread of email" syndrome that occasionally dogs me.

Other Stuff

I hate work. I hate not being productive.

Right. Rant over. Off to see [livejournal.com profile] taimatsu tonight...smilebouncegrin.

An SC-like moment?

Gld to see I set some standard to be measured by :)

Know what you mean about the STing side though and the email dread.

On the role playing thing...I've loved every moment of Lara & STC - I really have.

The sole reason for the extreme terseness of my reply today was due to her state of near emotional collapse and inability to articulate! It's been great tho. Really...you're a star!

first off...

*hugs*

now...

I'm having a SC-like moment of doubting that anyone could want to RP with me, any one could find any interest in my characters or in playing with them.

hmm.
me too.
& i know other fantastic RP-ers who are feeling exactly the same way.
having played in another LARP for the first time in a couple of years last night, & had a marvellous time, i'm starting to cynically think that the reason so many folks feel like this is simply coz cam doesn't tend to encourage deep inter-PC play. there's too much concentration on politics, & - & yes, i know that this is kinda contentious, & just my opinion - i feel that the way the inter-PC stuff that does exist is often done on IRC & in downtime makes it very exclusive, & detracts a lot from the actual RP dynamics at games...

as for NST-ing...

well, i owe you a beer & a hug for being so nice & supportive at the national.
thank you.

Just one comment regarding the national:
you stood up & said that the message you heard was "not good enough"

Allow me to disagree with you.
The message you should have heard is "not public enough".
You're self effacing and work quietly for the betterment of others.
Don't be. People vote for names they know.
Grim got most of his votes due to his broken volume control. Don't let that get you down.

::le sigh::

And not at all due to advocating actually doing things, turning up to games fairly regularly and being against a lot of the things that don't _seem_ to be being opposed in any way at all then.

Not being public enough is the _same_ as not being good enough.

People need to be kept informed, involved and up to date.

Consulted too.
