Ironically, this morning I received a response to the letter I wrote to Tony Blair about Iraq. There is a brief form reply and a document outlining Iraq policy. I might go and read it again...

War hasn't even been offically declared yet and already I'm sick of it. Then again I'm one of those people that isn't particuarly enthusiastic with the thought of war (but I do wish all stupid people would make their way to the nearest termination booth. Which at the moment would seem to be quite a few politicians).

You know, the UN should've seen this coming. They've all *but* made dinosaurs out of themselves and it's only a matter of time before they become extinct.

3 UN resolutions and still no real cooperation with Iraq? Gee, I guess resolutions don't mean a damn thing. Resolutions with words about "serious consequences" (1441) or how about to use "all necessary means" (678). But that doesn't matter even when another pretty much useless scrap of paper said that Saddam has to rid himself of all chemical, biological weapons and all missiles that go beyond 240 miles in 1991 (687).

Eh, it's all lame if you ask me. This has been coming for a long time. It's just that our last president, Clinton, didn't feel like causing too many waves. He liked being well liked and fancied himself the next Kennedy.

War, in general, sucks. It's not a fun thing. It's dangerous and it's scary. But you know... Iraq is training people to be suicide bombers and terrorists. What ever happened to hunting down all terrorists and giving "severe consequences" to those governments that supported them? I don't know... but I'm sick of this crap already.

How many months have we been doing this? Jesus. I want my TV back. And my radio.
