Right. I went and bought some little tester pots on Saturday and spent some time painting small squares on the walls.

The front room, stairs and landing (currently salmon pink) will be Wild Primrose (kind of light yellow)
The back room will be New Dawn (kind of light blue) and will haveAfter Dark (Dark blue) glosswork.
The kitchen will be Barley Twist (white with a hit of straw).

The only thing I have left to decide is what colour to paint the glosswork in the front room and stairs etc. I'm tempted to go either for white or for something dark. But I have no idea what.

I have a hankering to do at least some of it this Saturday. Will anyone be around?

Rollers, broad brushes, some narrow brushes, floor covering stuff, newspaper, white spirit, paint tray, stepladder....

let me see what I have, a lot of this I can provide.

And yeah, look at my LJ - cowardice explained...

btw my LJ is now certified worksafe....

Cool.

Somethings I already have, but I could probably do with some more stuff depending on how many people come. Also, I noticed in Focus that they have long handled rollers, which could be useful for the bit of my house that's hard to reach (above the stairs). They had dust type sheets as well.

I have no idea as to quantity as well...Hmm

White & yellow might look a bit washed out I think if you've got light blue & dark blue in the room next to it. I like the yellow idea :o) I would choose forest green of some kind for the glosswork, but I have no taste ;o)

Something like this (http://www.dulux.co.uk/dFinity/ukretail2/1QJiclojbdh7jimedcanhlcmhBipmkljlhbdjfdf6ibjlIafcmjnkpd8cP1i.html) maybe?
